How to do it
Convert a video in three steps
Follow these steps, then listen before downloading.

Choose the video
Use an MP4, MOV or WebM file that contains audio. The browser still needs to recognize the actual codec inside the file.

Pick the audio you want
When the video exposes multiple audio tracks, AudioCut lets you select one. Check the language or track label before you continue; an unsupported codec will show an error instead of a result.

Select a bitrate and listen
Bitrate affects the exported file only. Live preview does not simulate MP3 compression. Listen directly in Processed audio mode, then export MP3.

Verify the source track before making another conversion
Play a recognizable passage in the original video. If AudioCut lists several audio tracks, use the name, language and codec as clues, then listen after selecting the intended track. Labels can be incomplete, and selecting a commentary track can produce a valid file containing the wrong sound.
If there is no usable audio track, an MP3 export cannot create one. If the browser reports a decoding failure, the track may exist but use an unsupported codec. Re-export from the originating app when possible instead of changing the filename extension.
After extracting MP3, check the beginning, middle and ending in the destination player. Use Audio Converter only if you need a different audio format for the next step. Additional conversion is not a way to restore missing quality, and it does not restore video pictures.

- MP3 is a lossy audio format, and conversion may re-encode the original audio track.

Can I extract audio from a MOV or WebM file?
Yes, when its audio track is decodable in your browser. AudioCut accepts the container but cannot promise that every codec inside it will work.
Does converting MP4 to MP3 upload the video?
No. The current converter reads the file in this browser and creates the MP3 locally.
Can I keep the original video after converting?
The original file stays unchanged. Listen to the processed audio, then export a separate MP3.
