Choose a small gain change
The current control runs from -12 dB to +12 dB. Start with the smallest increase that might solve the problem instead of pushing the slider to the maximum.

Read the predicted peak
AudioCut estimates the resulting peak from the decoded track and your chosen gain. A result above 0 dBFS means clipping is likely.

Preview before sharing
Create a local MP3 and listen to loud words, consonants and music hits. If distortion appears, lower the gain and make another preview.
