Do I need an account?
No. The five AudioCut tools are free to use and do not require an account.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The current tools process supported media in this browser. The selected file, filename, waveform and result are not sent to AudioCut.
Which files work?
MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG and Opus are supported, along with MP4, MOV and WebM when the browser can decode their audio track.
Can I edit the picture in a video?
No. A video is used as an audio source. AudioCut exports an MP3 and does not edit the picture.
Will the original change?
No. The source file stays unchanged and the tool creates a separate MP3 result.
Can I use AudioCut on a phone?
Yes, in a modern browser. Codec support and device memory still affect which files work, so test an important edit with a short copy first.
