How AudioCut handles your files
AudioCut’s current tools process media in this browser. Here’s what stays local and what the site still receives.
Last reviewed August 4, 2026Local media processing
When you use the current tools, your selected media is read in the current browser tab. AudioCut does not send the media, filename, waveform, detected ranges or result to its servers.
The working file and generated result stay in temporary browser memory. Choosing another file, refreshing or closing the tab clears the session.
Site requests and diagnostics
Your browser still requests the code, styles and fonts needed to display the site. AudioCut uses analytics services to understand page visits and basic usage, but they do not receive your selected media or result.
Ordinary infrastructure logs may contain request time, page, network address and browser information, but must not contain media or derived content.
Accounts and future cloud tools
No account is needed for the current local tools. A future cloud tool will explain its provider, upload, retention and deletion rules before you select a file.
Support and operator
If you email support@audiocut.online, email services process the message and its metadata. Do not attach private media, passwords or payment details.
