Terms of use
Use the tool. Keep the rights.
These terms are an agreement between you and audiocut.online, which operates AudioCut. They apply to the current MVP and its five free, local audio tools.

AudioCut is operated at audiocut.online. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@audiocut.online.
Your media and permissions
You may process only media that you created, own, licensed or are otherwise authorized to use. AudioCut does not grant rights to music, recordings, performances or other third-party content.
Do not use AudioCut to bypass access controls, digital rights management, platform protections or restrictions on protected media.
What the local tools do
The current tools read compatible audio tracks in your browser and create an audio result. Video input is an audio source only: these tools do not preserve or edit the picture track.
Format and codec support varies by browser and device. Results can contain audible cuts, clipping, pitch changes or encoding differences, so you are responsible for previewing the result before relying on it.
Availability and warranties
AudioCut is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file, lossless output or suitability for a specific professional workflow.
Keep your original media and independent backups. A browser tab can close, run out of memory or lose temporary work before download.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, probe it for unauthorized access, distribute malicious files, automate abusive traffic or use AudioCut in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
Commercial status and changes
The MVP has no advertising, payment, subscription or refund flow. Future cloud, advertising or paid capabilities require a separately approved release and updated terms before use.
We may update these terms when the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. Questions can be sent to support@audiocut.online.
Open-source notices
AudioCut uses open-source components, including Mediabunny and its MP3 encoder under MPL-2.0; React, Next.js, Zod and Phosphor Icons under MIT; and the Figtree and EB Garamond fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Their respective license terms apply.
We keep a versioned component inventory with each release candidate and review it again before any production release.
