Privacy, in plain language
Your media stays on your side of the screen.
audiocut.online operates AudioCut. The five tools available in this MVP process media inside your browser. This page separates what exists now from features that may be added later.
Last updated August 1, 2026Local media processing
When you use Silence Remover, Audio Trimmer, MP4 to MP3, Audio Speed Changer or Volume Changer, your selected media is read in the current browser tab. AudioCut does not send the media, filename, waveform, detected intervals or result to its servers.
The working file and generated result are kept in temporary browser memory. Choosing another file, refreshing or closing the tab clears that working session. AudioCut does not place media in Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB or Cache Storage.
Site requests and diagnostics
Your browser still requests the website code, styles and fonts needed to display AudioCut. AudioCut uses Google Analytics 4 and Plausible to understand page visits and basic site usage. These services do not receive your selected media, filename, waveform, edit ranges or generated result. AudioCut does not use session replay or media-content logging.
Basic infrastructure logs may contain ordinary request information such as time, requested page, network address and browser user agent. They must never contain your selected media or its derived content.
Accounts and future cloud tools
No account is needed for the five local tools. Google sign-in and one free cloud processing opportunity will appear only if a separate cloud tool is approved and released. No such tool is available in the current navigation.
A future cloud tool must explain its provider, upload, retention, deletion and eligibility rules before you select a file. Its data flow will not inherit the local-tool promise on this page.
Advertising and payment
The MVP has no advertising, payment processing, checkout, subscription or paid credit system. These capabilities require a later approved version and updated terms before they can appear.
